![]() ![]() I mean you will need some speakers and maybe headphones but dont go crazy cause music is a money pit like any other hobbie. There is even payment plans on some sites. I dont see a few hundred buck really setting anyone back that much. Do you really need the car? Well in the future you may so is it a waste to get it? Its like buying a new car and eveything you need in life is a 1/8 mile away. If thats not the case and you want to make music and want to goto school for it or just take the never ending journey learning how to be better, than yes. Well if your 90 and not much life in you then no. I've known people who have stayed in the trial for a year or two and so don't rush it if not, go right ahead, have fun! don't worry about making good music or not, you have to go through a lot of experimenting and learning until you can make something really good, but it's more importantant that you're proud of the things you make and happy you came up with them (and I'll tell you the biggest superpower you can have as a producer is probably knowing the balance between being able to take inspiration from other artists while not expecting to make something on their level bc every single artist will always hear stuff they love but know they could never make themselves). if you're on the fence about either, I'd spend more time in the trial until you think you're ready. do you think you know enough about what it does to know if it fits you and do you think you will enjoy producing enough to at least justify the price. ![]() I absolutely love my daw no flaws to it the £153 I spent on buying fl has not gone to waste I was even skeptical of buying it in the first place if it was going to be a waste of time and let me tell you it is not if you are willing to dedicate your time to producing I have no buyers remorse over FL Studio.ĭepends on two factors for me. Look I started out somewhat on bandlab in mid 2020 then finally bought FL studio producer in summer 2021 and let me tell you I had no idea what to do I was completely overwhelmed by everything specially the stock synths (sytrus is very good always use it if you buy fl) but seriously the question you want to ask yourself is how much are you willing to dedicate your time to producing because I started out on FL as a complete noob and beginner but I was determined to understand this daw so if you stick at it for a few weeks and you'll have a basic understanding of it and by 2 months I knew the insides and outs of this daw I recommend the youtube channel "in the mix" for starting out as he greatly helped me start out in FL and then whatever genre you wish to create look at tutorials on youtube for that specific genre. ![]() If you know of any more, send a mod mail! r/JunkFolder - post unfinished tracks here for others to finish If you're here, chances are you've heard of other similar subreddits, but in case you haven't, check these out.
